Ski touring around Wildsturbel, Kandersteg

After my ankle problem i had to stay away from the mountains for over 2 months, however i got to test my new ski touring equipment in Austria in January with very little snow in Salbach and then in Wendensee in a superb hutte Austrian style - Rudolfshutte at 2 500 meters with sauna and swimming pool.

Next, the fun took place this past w-end behind Kandersteg - with Belgian Alpine Club's group called Neige et Montagne we got up Wildstrudel - a rather easy outing with a stay at Lammerenhutte and about 750m of ascent. It was lots of fun anyway especially given the snow conditions and the first tracks we got to make.
