Roger Mas

Last week-end at Rodellar we spent listening to the pretty good new album by Roger Mas, a Catalan singer that is also known for putting to music the poetry by the Catalan Baudelaire, Jacint Verdaguer.  This is the shameless promotion of Catalan culture, and I have to say I do enjoy getting to know it a little bit better each time.

GREAT singer, GREAT poems, and GREAT Lyrics he adapts to modern style plying...

I do liked MORE Verdaguer hearing MAS songs from CANÇONS TEL.LÚRIQUES, There was a time i satrted all my post with some pieces of Verdaguer extracted from Mas Lyrics...

Maybe a little bit depressing, maybe a little bit explosing...

See VREDAGUER biography and you'll undestand MORE about the poems...incredible how a priest wrote something like "ESTRELLETA"( plus ultra) or "ANEM" or ...

Enjoy him and enjoy catalunya..."en el pot petit hi ha la bona confitura"!!!!
