btw have you seen the movie Easy Rider?? Watched it a couple of days ago, made me think about the coincidence of that accident on the route with the same name...Interesting movie, i did not actually understand the ending, when Peter Fonda abandons his companion (why?? to look for help, or to escape?)
I watched it time ago...loved better the surrealistic scene during they are stoned...hehe! And the interesiting conversation about their country gathering around the campfire...
Don't rememeber this end you say, basically i understand mad people kill the rider, and I thought it was a end that Hopper build to show the man only can scape to their factors ( opression, misslove or loneliness) across his dead...
Some roadfilms ended suddenly with this kind of drama..."the skin in the road", "the ballad of GAble Hoove",...even "Gran Torino" ( the last film from the man of MAlpaso) ends in the same way...
Is a radical way to hit on your face when all the film sinked in a storu that ca'nt have any comfortable ending...all road movies are the same ( ?)
don't wanna talk about that route...did not like anybody made a parall.lelism with the accident...is only a coincidence...
sorry, but kind of weird-psyco-curious to watch the movie itself only after knowing the story about the accident. I understand though, it is also one of those routes i really do not want to ever climb...
