Infinite Margalef...

Gödel's first incompleteness theorem:  Any effectively generated theory capable of expressing elementary arithmetic cannot be both consistent and complete. In particular, for any consistent, effectively generated formal theory that proves certain basic arithmetic truths, there is an arithmetical statement that is true but not provable in the theory.

My interpretation. This statement is not provable: climbing offers infinite possibilities...(yes, don't ask!)

then would be better 2 talk about the concrete beauty of routes...or the places...some routes are special, better than the rest.

Maybe need no theory and more experiencing...climbing is based on acts more than in mind?

Buffgfff...let's go send another try don't we?

I appreciate your appreciation of opportunity cost, my dear poozzino.

Y hoy hace sol, finalmente...

hmm, i have to agree with you for once, y por eso mi doctorado me deja en una esquina de complexidad y surrealismo dificil a superar.

I told the same to Pau...

Yestrday i saw a revelation pic in a magazine: Climbing...an ununknown ( for me) USA young climber, a , traveller, trad climber, boulderer, sport climber, alpinist...the sentence of his crew was simple, and the pic reflected it specially in his blue eyed sight:

CLIMBING is THE TRUTH

The "top" in english is a wider concept than in spanish, can be a chain, a real top, the top of a boulder, the end of a train serie, or any goal you have in mind...

1)The meaning of a goal is INSIDE oneself, not only due the representativity of the mountain (objectively is harder to send 8b than climbing Cho Oyu or Everest?)
2)Sun rises today and the next days, check the local forecast, rock is warm and spirits wake up!

Godel habla de systemas deterministas? Pensaba que la idea era "theory", cualquiera "theory", que siempre quedaras con "this statement is not provable", or "this theory is incomplete"...

and yes, interesting question, objectively, is it harder to send 8b or to climb Everest? and subjectively? For me, subjectively at least, it is definitely harder to send 8b...what do you think?

and - my spirit is always awake!

Luego send it as you can or as you want...the only advice are "climbing is the truth", the rest are details...

seguimos, climbing is the truth!
